The S/V Seawulff was built by Evergreen State College, in Olympia WA as a class project. The class designed the teak deck and interior of the Robert Perry designed hull. It was designed as a sailing research vessel (with hydraulic winch and boom) for marine biology, water quality, environmental and maritime cultural classes. The S/V Seawulff is USCG certified and licensed as a 10 passenger vessel. It was operated for twenty seven years by the college from the time of its launching in 1980 until purchased by Captain Jim Peacock in 2007.
