About the Skipper and the S/V SeaWulff

S/V SeaWulff is owned and operated by Jim Peacock. Jim has Skippered professionally on his own vessels, and others under sail and power from ports as varied as Southampton, England, The Canary Isl., The British Virgin Isl. and western coast of N. America from Mexico to Alaska including many cruises up the inside passage to Alaska.

The S/V SeaWulff was originally conceived in 1974 by the Evergreen State college as a sailing marine research vessel. After a fire destroyed the first vessel before it was completed the community rallied behind this program and the S/V SeaWulff was launched in 1980.
The S/V SeaWulff was built by the students of the Evergreen State College using time proven methods of wooden boat construction that has flourished in the Puget Sound of Wa.
The S/V SeaWulff provided marine educational opportunities on a sailing vessel and was used as a platform for marine research and education for the next 26 years.
The vessel is now up for charter by skipper, owner Jim Peacock on beautiful Port Townsend Bay and for extended cruises to the San Juan Islands
